Delivery & Change Leadership

At Skillsoft, Michael worked as a fractional Head of Delivery & Change, leading multiple strategic initiatives across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Delivery teams in both Europe and North America. His role covered building and launching cross-sell sales plays, designing operational frameworks for faster go-to-market execution, and aligning senior stakeholders across functions that had previously worked in silos. He focused on fixing ownership gaps, clarifying decision rights, and creating practical delivery structures without adding unnecessary complexity. Alongside sales initiatives, Michael supported operational improvements across trainer management, partner enablement, and reporting frameworks — helping the business unlock new revenue, reduce delivery friction, and make change stick across both strategic and day-to-day operations.

Operational Delivery Setup

Michael worked with Attercop, a digital agency that delivers bespoke AI-powered solutions for a range of clients. In this case, he helped develop the operational delivery structure for an early-stage product launch. He created lightweight formal project management systems that focused on visibility, scheduling, and accountability without adding unnecessary admin. Michael worked directly with leadership, developers, and operations teams to bridge communication gaps, define realistic delivery plans, and create simple reporting that kept momentum visible. This helped Attercop bring their product to market faster while maintaining flexibility as they scaled.

eLearning Programme Delivery

Michael worked with Sponge, a global digital learning agency, leading the end-to-end delivery of complex eLearning programmes for major corporate clients. The work involved managing multidisciplinary production teams — including instructional designers, developers, and media specialists — and ensuring that projects stayed aligned to client expectations, budgets, and delivery milestones. He helped streamline delivery processes, improve cross-team collaboration, and tighten up project governance without slowing down creative output. Michael's role was focused on making large-scale client programmes smoother and more predictable, balancing the flexibility needed for creative work with the structure required for on-time, high-quality delivery.
